Adam Jury blogs about the misconception that all gamers are internet-savvy, trawl forums and engage with publishers. I think this is something that we've come to realise from meeting people at conventions, but it's easy to forget.

I know some of you here are quite into your computer games so I thought you might be interested in seeing how the computer equivalent of the small press publishers do things. Over on Kotaku, they are playing through a lot of the games from the Independent Games Festival. Some really interesting ideas in there that may spark the imagination.
