A new gaming podcast, coming out of Livingston, Scotland, has appeared on the scene. They are very keen to get feedback and, having spoken to some of the guys at Games Expo, seem super-keen on improving their content and technique with every show. Check out their website here.

Cheers

Huh, from here

Come see what Reactor 88 Studios is working on. We will be showing updates on the development of Matt Forbeck’s Brave New World, and we will also be be offering a first look at the film based on Jared A. Sorensen’s InSpectres, which is currently in production. We will talk about the processes of production as well as showcase some new film-making technology that is changing the way films are getting made.

Good for Matt and Jared. I'll have to see if I can make that event at GenCon.

Bob Harris (creator of Talisman) has a FREE Murder Mystery card/RPG on his website:

Murder at Mystery Manor

This is a role-playing card game designed by Bob Harris allowing 4+ players to create and solve a murder mystery. Just add a dash of imagination and let the hunt for the killer begin.

An interesting, and different, take on the sort of thing from Graham Walmsley's A Taste For Murder.

The Edinburgh Book Festival may be worth checking out. There are a couple of events on about the future of publishing in a world where the ebook exists and a talk on whether computer games kill or encourage storytelling.

The book festival site is here.
