Hi all,
Nigel and I are planning to go to our local convention, Game08, in manchester at the beginning of November this year.
I've been in contact with the guy organising the RPGs for the convention, Jon Scholes, and have asked if we could have a table near the RPG sign-up desk to run some 15 min demos.
If Jon's amenable to this plan, we were thinking about running a collection of CE game demos, but we're new to this and would appreciate any help in managing to do this.

So ... any news from GenCon? It seems quiet on all the Indie boards ... unsurprisingly, but surely some interesting news has leaked out?

Hi guys,
I am back looking at some RPG projects at the moment and need some help finishing off and playtesting Reel Adventures, my action movie story game.
From the last playtest, there was a problem with people creating Risk for their Stake by getting new Resources. There was no incentive to get involved in Action. I have now added in Grit rules:
Grit adds up over the course of the story.
The Hero with the most Grit at the end is the one who takes down the nemesis, everyone else just helps.
Grit rules are on p.14 and p.19.

So I'm back again, designing a new rpg. What I want to know, is, from this blurb (it's a bit long), does this sound interesting? If it does, why, and if it doesn't, why again!
